14 Series

It combines functions of spot drill, counter bore and chamfering together, simplifies machining process from original five processes into two processes. This not only reduces purchasing number of cutting tools and machining time from many processes, but also saves the time for tool replacement. Besides, this four-in-one counter bore can also be individually used as spot drill. In addition to application on CNC machine, it can also be used on drilling machine.

Features

  • Same insert combines processes for spot drill, chamfering, counter bore and upper / lower chamfering. It simplifies the machining process which originally needs five cutting tools into two cutting tools.
  • Counter bore and the drill hole diameter is centrally aligned. Its center is precise and run out hardly occurs.
  • It saves not only three cutting tools and cost of collect chuck, but machining time also needs only three seconds to finish counter bore hole machining.
