BB3 Series

Compared with steel shank holder, BB3 has better stability as it’s made in HSS material.

Advantages:
1. HSS tool holder is less expensive than carbide shank, yet the performance is already good enough in
general machining. It’s unique capto connection design can firmly and closely combine the tool holder
and the carbide head.
2. Improves the surface finishing.
3. Improve dimensional accuracy.
4. Suitable for shallow overhang machining.
5. Five kinds of tool holder options, combined with different designs of carbide heads, which are widely used in various industries.

  • Roughing and finishing can be done in one step.
  • Special taper polygon connection design enhance the tool life and machining efficiency, it leads to several times higher tool life than HSS tools
  • Nearly zero eccentricity in full grinding quality, and the concentricity of center guiding post up to ±0.005mm
  • The design of indexable milling head greatly reduces the waste of rare earth resources. We love this eco-friendly concept.
  • One tool holder can be matched with different radius and different grades of carbide milling heads to maximize flexible application
  • Patented taper polygon positioning design, which can be automatically and precisely positioned. The milling head can be replaced directly on the spindle for saving tool calibration time
  • Applications: face milling, grooving, high-feed in roughing and finishing, r-angle machining at the bottom of pocket milling
